The annual focus of MARK Salzburg in 2022 is Life in the Hybrid - between digital and analogue spaces. It adresses the social, political and artistic effects that digitalisation can create and examines the creative design and dangers of alienation.
On May 13th "The Fallen", a project from the "The 5th Commandment" series, will be presented and can be played.
The Fallen is set in a destroyed airport in Ukraine´s disputed Eastern regions. It tells the stories of ordinary people with ordinary lives who have ended up on the battlefield for different reasons but ultimately meet the same fate in a civil war tainted by nationalism and propaganda.
